LEGAL / PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data 42VPN processes when providing cross-border network acceleration subscriptions, why it is processed, and how users can manage it.
Data Collected and Processing Purposes
No email address is required to register. Users can create an account by setting a username and password, so the registration process does not request an email address. Passwords are protected for authentication and are not displayed in directly readable plaintext. Users are responsible for securely storing their login credentials.
To deliver subscriptions, verify entitlements and handle after-sales matters, the service stores account identifiers, plan status, traffic usage, order records, payment status and refund records. This information is used to confirm service validity, calculate plan traffic, resolve order disputes and apply the rule allowing a full, no-questions-asked refund within 14 days of the first payment.
Basic access analytics may be generated while you use the website, such as pages visited, referring pages, browser type, device category, network address and error events. This data helps verify that pages work properly, troubleshoot compatibility issues and detect abnormal requests. It is not used to build personal interest profiles or sell user information.
No-Logs Policy and Connection Data
42VPN does not record which websites users visit, retain webpage content, destination addresses, DNS queries or application communications, or organize this information into browsing records linked to specific accounts.
Running the network requires processing real-time connection signals and traffic measurements. This processing is used only to establish connections, enforce plan traffic rules, keep nodes operating and identify faults. The service does not maintain long-term personal connection activity logs. Statistics used to assess route capacity are aggregated and contain no records that could reconstruct specific browsing content.
When users voluntarily submit a support ticket, diagnostic text, screenshots or device information included in the ticket is used to address that issue. Remove personal content unrelated to the problem before submitting it. Once troubleshooting is complete, diagnostic materials no longer needed will be deleted or de-identified.
Cookies and Local Storage
This site may use necessary cookies or browser local storage to save login sessions, language preferences, interface settings and security status. This information keeps actions in the user panel continuous, prevents repeated setup after page changes and helps identify unusual login states.
Disabling necessary storage may prevent login status from being maintained, reset user panel settings or stop some features from working properly. Clearing browser site data removes preferences and session information saved on the current device; after clearing it, users must log in again and configure the relevant options.
Payment Processing and Data Sharing
This site supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payment confirmation is handled by the relevant third-party payment service. 42VPN does not directly store complete authentication details for third-party payment accounts. It receives only the transaction identifier, payment result, amount and order status required to activate a subscription, reconcile accounts and process refunds.
Third-party payment services process payment-related data under their own privacy policies. Except where necessary to complete payments, provide the service, resolve disputes, protect site security or comply with applicable requirements, the service does not provide account information to external organizations. Service providers may access data only to the extent required for their assigned technical tasks.
Data Retention, Deletion and Policy Updates
Account information is retained while the account remains active. Order and payment status are stored for as long as necessary to complete transactions, process refunds, reconcile accounts and resolve disputes. Access analytics are aggregated, de-identified or deleted after operational analysis is complete; data with no continuing business or security purpose is not retained.
Users can request access to or deletion of account-related data through the support ticket function in the user panel. After receiving a request, the service first verifies control of the account and then processes data that can be deleted. Uncompleted orders, refund requests or disputes may need to be settled first. Information that must be retained by law or to preserve transaction records will be handled after the relevant requirement ends.
This policy may be updated when service processes, storage methods or applicable requirements change. The updated text will be published on this page, and the last-updated date at the top will be changed. Important changes to data processing practices will be explained through a visible notice on the site. Please review the latest version before continuing to use the service.
